Kay was born in the U.K. but spent most of her childhood and later years in Australia.

After educating and practising as a  Nurse specialising in intensive care, Kay's desire to follow a creative path won out and eventually she graduated with a Bachelor of Design (Interior) degree.

In her five years with Design Environments, Kay's design prowess and organisational skills have been the mainstay of many of Design Environments projects.

With two teenage daughters, Kay's work and home life are full on, but when she finds time she likes to explore her new country either through tramping or motorbike tours while leaving time to pursue her love of live music, theatre and art and sculpture.
