In all companies there is always a person that holds it all together. In Design Environments, that person is Marion.

Supporting John in the fledgling days of Design Environments gave Marion an understanding of the issues faced when working with a creative personality, where the process of designing overrides the documentation and communication necessary to ensure the company was operationally successful as well as creatively.

With a background in merchandising and display it was not long before Marion's creative input was as valuable as her administrative attributes.

Armed with several years of design curriculum now behind her, Marion's contribution goes well beyond the daily running of the company.

As a New Zealand representative runner over several distances, Marion's focus and ability to 'do the hard yards' has contributed to the overall performance of Design Environments on all levels.

Marion is stilled ranked up there in the best ever times for several marathon courses and today still enjoys running regularly, albeit marginally slower.

Outside of work, Marion maintains an interest in health and nutrition plus looking after her huge garden, but her biggest priority these days is being involved with her grandchildren.
